What does it mean?
During the autumn period (from September 17 to December 20) you will be able to take part in a number of workshops from such illustrators as Cristina Daura, Natalia Velásquez, Ksenia Vinogradenko (Kulichiq) for a special price. You can also join regular Saturday meetings, go to museums, attend the sketching club and some events including a Christmas party in December.
After you buy the pass, we add everybody in a closed group where all the participants and teachers are to communicate with each other. We will share the topic and the location of a new meeting each week.

WHAT DOES THE COMMUNICATION OF PARTICIPANTS LOOK LIKE?
CURATORS
Ksenia is a bi-illustrator living in Barcelona. A few years ago she turned all life upside down. She decided to follow her dream and to do and learn everything that would make her an illustrator.
It all started with a sketch. A simple line drawing that forced Ksenia to actually look around and see things, and notice details.

Nathalia is an illustrator and interior designer. She currently is getting a Master’s degree in editorial and advertising illustration at Labasad. Her work is mostly in notebook and plein ai, landscape is her favorite theme. She has held sketching workshops and collaborated with brands such as Etchr Studio and Royal Talens. Her works use narrative and color as a way of expressing feelings and points of view.
Cristina is an illustrator based in Barcelona that mainly works with newspapers, record labels, musicians, some brands, publishing houses and other independent projects. Her works using narrative and color as a way of expressing feelings and experience. She works with panels, like a comic, but at the same time with symbolism.

The workshop is aimed at artists and people who simply want to add a creative spark to their life.
It is going to be open-air sketching with mixed media covering 5 themes and different locations in the city. We’re giving participants the chance to find what they like to draw, what they’re good at and also discover their weak points that we can work on.

In this class we will learn how to make expressive and dynamic urban illustrations. Natalia will give tips on how to approach drawing insitu. We will divide the class into steps so that we can organize our ideas and put them on paper without feeling overwhelmed. This will help us portray our surroundings in a free and fun way and most importantly, enjoy the process of creating.

In these 2 days we’re gonna free our inner fears through drawing. To be able to get over your emotions is not only helpful in everyday life but could also be a weapon you use to awaken your voice as an illustrator and attract more attention using art as an instrument of social changes. Let’s come across our inner fears and draw them out.
